Trauma's not always what we think it is. It’s not always something big like an accident or loss of a loved one. More often it’s something that happens too soon or too different from what the person has experienced before, causing overload and shutdown in the system. Moving through life without being able to find resolution or make sense of it leaves the body feeling as though that overwhelming event is still happening. Without adequate support, the survivor feels trapped and like something is wrong with them. It's not you. Whatever happened, you can overcome it. A trusting relationship is often the first step toward healing.

I use EMDR, CranioSacral Therapy and Systemic Work to help clients unlock persistent, mostly unconscious self-limiting patterns and beliefs. Often the beliefs and feelings we are carrying aren't even ours. Learning to use the brain differently is all that is necessary.

My strengths are listening and unconditional acceptance. These, along with broad life experience, have given me the tools to facilitate communication and understanding between the various aspects of the Self. My professional experience also includes extensive training in systemic dynamics and the Orders of Love.

The issue of boundaries pervades our lives in ways that are so subtle, yet so profound, that once they are mastered, simply everything changes. I will facilitate this group so you can experiment and learn how emotions and boundaries work together. Build and strengthen your personal boundaries and learn when others are pushing and violating yours. Let me know if you are interested in forming a group that meets for 5-6 consecutive weeks, or a couple entire weekends. Timing will depend on preference of participants. Cost per person will be $180 - $250, depending on group size and format.

Systemic and Family Constellations Therapy

Constellations make use of the web of energetic bonds that exist between members of family groups and the ways that unresolved issues are passed from one generation to another. They leave participants feeling changed, often reporting feeling things shifting and reaching greater integration in the body. A relatively private, comfortable space is needed to have a successful constellation circle, one big enough to seat 8-18 people, with a space in the middle that is big enough to move around in. Constellations can take place outside in nature when weather permits, allowing nature elements to show up as healing forces. Constellations are also offered online.
