My name is Toni Onkka, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based in Fresno, California. I work with clients throughout California via telehealth. I work with adults over 18 years old. My practice includes a large number of clients over 65 years old. The conditions that are most commonly presented by my clients include depression, anxiety, stress, sexual identity, and aging issues.
My therapeutic approach is based on my client and the issues present. The most common approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Others utilized include Solution-Based therapy and Strength Based Therapy.
My communication style is calm and accepting of others. My goal is for my clients to feel welcome, accepted without judgment and comfortable sharing their story.
