Life brings storms that challenge us, creating different ways to try to calm the storm. I hope to help empower my clients to understand themselves, their bodies, & their needs to be able to approach the storms in a way that brings healing & calm. I have worked for over a decade with clients of all ages & backgrounds, specializing with children, teens, & those with issues of body image (view of the body, such as: size, identity (racial, sexual, & gender), abledness, & age). I work with persons of all ages to address concerns of anger, anxiety, social behaviors, self-esteem, sensory reactions, and adjusting to significant life events.
Through compassion & humor, I work to foster a relaxing & calm environment, free of judgement for each person. With play therapy and other approaches, used with children, adolescents, & adults, a style of counseling different from typical “talk therapy”, I work with you/your child to find the new understanding of the storms and how to face them.
If you feel that you/your child may be needing some help calming the storms that come in life, I would be honored to work with you/your child to understand & conquer the storms.
