I have over ten years of experience working with teens and adults under 50. Most of my clients, both male and female, are in some form of transition in their lives. These transitions present themselves as maturation struggles, changing relationships, questioning perspectives, contemplating choices, and finding difficulty with what currently faces them in their lives. These are the times when a trusted assistant is helpful. My clients need to know that they have a safe place, without judgement, to work through their struggles. I provide trust, support, education, and new skills training with each client.
I specialize in areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, teen defiance, and trauma recovery. I emphasize short term, goal-oriented therapy focused on helping clients quickly gain traction in their lives and relationships. EMDR, CBT, IPT, and MBCT are all modalities which I regularly use. Therapy usually lasts from 4-12 sessions.
Whether it be an angry teen showing resentment toward a parent, or a young couple struggling to find their way together- all people enter wanting a greater sense of peace and connection in their lives. I am able to help you discover what is needed to reach your goals.
