My name is Tomiko Tsuha-McNiel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and primarily focus on treating issues dealing with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, communication, life transitions, career challenges, relationship problems, and grief and loss. I enjoy working with my clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Problem Solving Therapy.
My communication style is warm, caring, and compassionate. I provide a supportive environment in my therapy sessions where clients are invited to discuss their problems in a judgment-free safe place.
I became a therapist because I enjoy making connections, having conversations, and providing support to individuals who are navigating through difficult times. Making a difference by helping individuals work towards resolving their challenges is very rewarding to me.
