Prior to creating Addiction Specialists LLC, I was the Director of a men’s treatment facility, provided addictions and trauma counseling services for adults and families in a private practice setting, the Program Director for an outpatient facility, and a Mental Health and Addiction Specialists at Auburn University Athletics Sports Medicine. I bring over 25 years of experience in the field of addiction treatment
I have presented on numerous recovery topics such as The Growth Process from Addiction to Recovery and The Twelve Steps for Alcoholics, Addicts, and The Family. Having worked with numerous individuals struggling with addiction, my goal is to assist others and their families move out of the dark shadow of addiction and into the light of recovery.
Struggling with addiction not only destroys the individual, but also destroys the family and other personal relationships. I have personally experienced the devastation brought by addiction and witnessed many others as they spiral down to oblivion. I consider it a privilege to help others in their struggle, and to provide a safe place for all to heal.
