I have 20+ years experience providing psychotherapy services to individual adults of all ages in the Bay Area. My training and experience provide me with expertise in treating a wide range of problems including; depression, anxiety, relationship problems, workplace stress, and issues related to trauma. I have extensive experience in geriatric mental health, and provide expert mental health services to older adults and their families. I also have extensive experience working with younger adults facing relationship issues, depression, and anxiety.
In addition to individual psychotherapy work with clients, I also offer professional consultation services to other providers who work with older adult clients.
My therapeutic style is conversational and interactive. I have extensive experience with a range of approaches including psychodynamic, CBT, and problem-focused intervention. I collaborate with clients to determine the nature of current problems and to decide together on an approach that is best suited to each client's unique treatment goals.
