I am a Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor who provides counseling services for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Thank you for your interest in my practice. I work with individuals and families experiencing everyday challenges as well as people who are struggling with more significant mental health concerns. My clients and colleagues describe me as genuine, compassionate, down-to-earth, and helpful. I am outcome-oriented, active and responsive in sessions, and I very much enjoy helping people address their concerns so they can move forward in their lives.
With individuals, I practice AEDP--focusing on creating safety and connection so that painful emotions can be addressed and resolved. With couples, I practice emotionally focused therapy--strengthening the loving connection between partners. I am also trained to work with trauma, alcohol/ drugs, and behavioral addictions (gambling, sex, internet, pornography).
I schedule clients from Monday to Friday on the hour beginning at 9 am. My last appointment of the day is at 5 pm. I provide free 15-minute phone consultations so that you can get a feel for me and how I work before making a decision on whether or not to come in.
