Thank you for your interest in my practice! I am a Psychologist who provides counseling services for adults (18 and older), couples, and families. I work with people experiencing everyday challenges as well as people who are struggling with more significant mental health concerns. I tend to work more experientially, which means instead of simply talking about things, I will be guiding you to notice your inward responses, especially as they bubble up in the moment. My focus is on self-exploration so you can deepen your emotional awareness and identify and resolve the wounds of the past that may inhibit your happiness in the present.
I focus on identifying the patterns that keep you stuck so that you are free to become your self-at-best. I believe that underneath our patterns - even the ones that seem unhealthy or irrational - there is always a valid reason. Like a 'root cause' - usually an early emotional learning. Whatever it was, it is always something understandable and sympathetic.
I schedule in-office and online appointments from Monday through Thursday on the hour beginning at 9 am. My last appointment of the day is at 3 pm. On Fridays, I schedule online clients only. I provide free 15-minute phone consultations so that you can get a feel for me and how I work before making a decision on whether or not to come in.
