I'm honored to work with children and adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, life transitions and grief. I combine play therapy with art, mindfulness, movement, EMDR, and sand tray therapy for children ages 4-10 to help them understand their thoughts and feelings, grow their emotional awareness, and learn to identify and express their needs. Creative healing isn't just for children. I also help adults who are struggling with relationships, anxiety and trauma.

Children and adults have many stressors and concerns in their lives that may be difficult to talk about or share with close friends and family. Many having the fear of being judged hesitate sharing their true fears and anxieties and small children may not even have the words to properly describe what they are feeling. I provide a safe environment where people can come and talk about (through talk therapy, activity therapy, or play therapy) their experiences in their day to day lives and how it effects them. I further assist parents to build on their parenting skills and open the lines of communication.

Growing up with ADHD helped me understand how therapy and the right treatment could help make my life the best life possible. I'm looking to help my patients achieve the best life they can have. I can help people discover what is holding them back and work with them to removing those barriers to a better life.

I believe in mutuality. I believe that all persons deserve it in relationships, even when things feel too complicated. So I naturally prioritize a collaborative, exploratory, and enlightening relationship for healing - both in psychotherapy and in evaluation. When I work with any age or circumstance, I try to understand words, thoughts, behaviors, and meanings. These all can lend themselves to strengths or difficulties, so we work with these to bring about desired change.

Deborah Netz, LPC- I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I work with children struggling in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma and ADD/ADHD. I have significant experience in working with children struggling with behavioral issues as well as those who are on the autism spectrum. I also work with children suffering from grief related to losing a loved one.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. As a neurodivergent individual and a parent to my neurodivergent children, I have a unique understanding and lived experience regarding neurodivergence (particularly related to autism and ADHD). I am passionate about working with other neurodivergent individuals of all ages and identities from a neurodiversity-affirming approach.

I have a passion for working with others to improve their quality of life. I have spent over twenty years working with children of all ages, adolescents and adults, whom have had emotional, behavioral, medical and learning challenges. I have experience providing family and marital counseling. My experience also includes working with individuals whom have dual diagnosis using different forms of psychotherapy. I meet my clients where they are to partner with them in making a positive impact in their lives.
