It is my belief that salient therapy treats a client in 3 different directions: top-down (spiritual dimension), inside out (healing of memories), and outside-in (Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). Nervousness is normal, and thinking you're beyond help is when reaching out for help is the best thing you can do. As for children, I've seen and been on the receiving end of many behaviors for several years, and I still love working with them. Needing help is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of awareness. Learning how to manage your symptoms means you're trying.
