My goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment for my clients, in which we will work collaboratively to identify the factors contributing to stress and create a plan to develop coping skills and empowerment. Children, adolescents and adults engage with me in a process to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression and overall stress that leads to greater fulfillment and enjoyment in life. My participation in this field is my passion, and I consider it my privilege to work with each of my clients.

I am a caring, culturally competent therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families around many issues, including: marital problems, sexual issues, raising adolescents, depression, anxiety, and how all mental health issues impact our lives and relationships. I have specialized training in couple and family therapy which I obtained through the Ackerman Institute for the Family In New York City. I am also currently pursuing certification in sex therapy.

For my work with children, I specialize in high functioning autism, ADHD, anxiety and other childhood behavioral concerns. With adults, I focus on how life changes/losses have changed your path and work to help you get back to where you want to be.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan using compassionate and evidence-based theories. I serve and assist clients with life-interfering anxiety and depression, personality disorders and interpersonal conflicts. I also work with mood disorders and assist in changing challenging behavioral patterns that interfere with their quality of life. I use a blend of therapeutic approaches personalized to the specific needs of each individual. These approaches include Psychodynamic and Person Centered Therapy, CBT, Gestalt, REBT, Family Systems, Play Therapy as well as others.

I have experience treating a variety of clients from young children, teens, parents, and grandparents. I have assisted them through traditional treatment as well as custody evaluations, bonding evaluations, reunification therapy, and learning assessments. In treatment, I have used EMDR skills to treat high levels of anxiety. My experience with depression and other mood disorders has spanned almost 20 years of practice in psychology. I work collaboratively with my clients. There is no question or experience too big or small for us to examine and unlock together.
