Waypoint Wellness Center was founded in 2015 and offers individual, family, and couples psychotherapy as well as medication management in a welcoming, private practice setting. In addition, Waypoint offers psychological, neuropsychological, and psycho-educational testing. Our providers utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to provide therapy and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. We have offices in Annapolis, Severna Park, and Linthicum and provide telehealth services.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of the Annapolis Child and Family Therapy Center. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with a wide range of mental health and family relationship concerns. Problems I treat include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, tics, Tourette's, adjustment problems, noncompliance, anger/aggression, trauma, disruptive behavior, and family and couple relationship difficulties. My approach is collaborative and I view all of my clients as equal partners in the treatment process.

My ideal client is someone who is diagnosed with anxiety disorder. These symptoms develop in childhood and are still present through adulthood if not treated. Individuals need to face their fears with the support of a therapist. By trying to remain calm, without becoming overly anxious or having a panic attack. My goal as a therapist is to help them build their self-confidence so they can control their fears and feel secure. I work with clients to remain calm and practice breathing techniques. I build empathy with my clients by explaining that they are not alone in their struggles.
