When we started Pillars we quickly realized that to best help our clients we needed to partner with clinicians with diverse backgrounds and skills. Dr. Susie Galford offers assessment and therapeutic mental health services for children, teens, and young adults. She is a licensed psychologist (HSPP), nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP), and licensed teacher (grades K-6) in Indiana. Dr. Galford has specialized training in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual and executive functioning, developmental challenges, anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based research and employs a primarily cognitive-behavioral approach to assessment and therapy.

I have been in the psychology field for over two decades. Therapy is a process of sharing concerns, problems, ideas, questions and decisions. I will listen, share, question, challenge, confront and support you in coming to grips with the things that are troubling you. I am committed to providing the most effective and personalized therapy possible.I have experience treating clients in a variety of settings and socioeconomic circumstances across the state on Indiana. I have a wide range of skills that include, but are not limited to, improving coping skills, stress management, relationship enhancement and managing moods. In addition to these interests, my passion includes working with children, adolescents and their families. I use play and sand tray therapy to compliment the therapy process, allowing children to express themselves, while including the caregivers and siblings, to help the entire family reach their goals.

My name is Samantha Wright-Cooksey, MSW, LCSW. I have been a therapist for over 20 years with combined experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I have provided professional services in outpatient, home, community and school-based settings. I have worked in addictions as well as end of life issues. I utilize strength-based and solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and problem solving skills training.
