In my 45 plus years of practice, I have found that most patients, before coming to see me may have tried to the best of their abilities to solve their problems. The central task is for us to identify the nature of their psychological puzzle, and to find ways to collaborate in finding solutions to them. I have a particular interest in people who may have neurocognitive deficits. Also, I have an interest in children and adolescents whose parents are in the divorce process.

I use a combination of play and talk therapy to provide relief from painful emotional symptoms and foster growth and resilience. I guide and support parents by sorting through the many questions and decisions that arise when parenting a child with emotional difficulties. Together, we will find new ways of resolving conflicts.
