I believe in transparency and open communication. I tell all that therapy does not mean that you're crazy as that is the common perception. I am a local therapist in the Atlanta area. I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Mississippi State University. I began my journey of helping others and advocating for disenfranchised families at that time. After practicing social work for six years, I saw an even greater need with individuals suffering with mental health issues. I then returned to college and earned a Master's in Mental health Counseling degree, which I received from Capella University. I then began working with a diverse population within a therapeutic arena, to combat, cope with, and extinguish a wide variety of mental health issues.

While I primarily work with children, adolescents and families, I also enjoy assisting adult individual clients.
