Dr. James L. Jackson has over 15 years experience providing professional counseling for children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing mental and emotional pain related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. Dr. Jackson is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor. James works with clients as young as age 3 and uses evidence-based therapy modalities to address behavioral and emotional concerns.

The focus of our practice, is to assist adults, children, and families with obtaining relatable therapy, to reach goals. We assess situations in your life which contribute to current emotions behaviors and thought patterns. With child and adolescent clients our focus is similar, with the addition of close communication with the family.
