I have had the opportunity to work extensively with a variety of ages, who have experienced trauma in various forms, and found my passion and calling in showing that healing was real, and not only possible but probable.

Emily is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor who works with children ages 3 to 10. She has been providing counseling services in North Alabama since 2019 through a school based program and private practice.

Tony specializes in helping those who have lost hope. As a retired ordained pastor, Tony has the knowledge and personal understanding of God to integrate the spiritual and emotional concerns of life. Tony fully respects the desire of those who do not wish to integrate the spiritual aspect of life in their counseling. Tony works with each individual to understand the specific needs and goals for counseling in order to insure he/she receives the very best that Tony has to provide as a therapist.

I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and families integrating interpersonal nuerobiology and play therapy. I utilize play, art, music, movement, sensory based interventions, and sand tray techniques to provide a well rounded and effective approach for my clients. I also prioritize parent support and empowerment. In our work together, I provide parents with effective strategies for supporting their child at home and effective practices for building connected and secure relationships.

I have worked with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, parenting issues, career challenges, ADHD, self-esteem, and trauma. I am a Registered Play Therapist who uses play therapy techniques to help children cope with stressful circumstances and life issues.
