I am the "bookends therapist". I help clients and families with the beginning-of-life (0-10 years old) and end-of-life (65-100 years old) mental health challenges. Beginning-of-life counseling clients seek support for navigating early developmental challenges, family dynamics, and emotional regulation. End-of-life counseling (65-100 years old) seeks support in navigating retirement, aging, and finding purpose in later life. They aim to address existential concerns, foster family connections with parents or adult children, and prepare for the end-of-life transition after a family member passes.

With 20 years in the field of psychology, Dr. Pelz is an adult, marital, child and adolescent-trained Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Pelz' specialties include ADHD, Parenting skills, along with coping strategies for anxiety and depression. He provides ADHD evaluations, as well as providing couples therapy. He holds a Masters' of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP). Dr. Pelz received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science and Law, Sociology, and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate of Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.

TAC offers a creative enviroment for children to address emotional and behavior issues through play therapy and behavior modification. TAC has an amazing sensory-based play therapy room that your children will love. TAC takes the time to teach parents creative parenting techniques to use at home. TAC also treats teens and adults of all ages.

I have a decade of professional experience working in schools, agencies, and private practice as a licensed professional counselor. I currently work with adults, adolescents, children, infants and groups. I have a Masters and an Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders with a focus on trauma.

Populations Dr. Black has experience with include those struggling with depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, family-relational difficulties, learning disabilities, conduct disorder, substance use, disordered eating, and trauma. Typically, individuals she works with range in age from 3 to 18-years-old. However, Dr. Black has expanded her practice to work with adults ranging in age from 18 to 45-years-old.

I want to be a safe place and a refuge for my clients to feel free and open to discuss whatever is keeping them feeling stuck. My goal is to help them heal and overcome the difficulties that bring them into my office by being an ally, a supporter, and a trusted confidante. I believe the power of healing largely lies in the relationship a client, no matter their age, has with their therapist and I hold that responsibility very highly. I want my clients to feel heard, seen, and validated during our work together.

I'm a Pediatrician by training, who has spent the last decade helping children and their families with behavioral health issues (ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc). I take pride in developing a comfortable working relationship with my patients and their parents, which increases the probability of reaching our goals as fast as possible during their crucial developmental years. As a parent myself, I appreciate straight answers and easy to understand explanations. I strive to give you the time you need to share your journey and the respect you deserve as the person on the front lines with your child.

I am passionate about working with families and their children. My goal is to help my clients identify what they can improve and guide them through achieving their personal goals, whether as an individual or a family unit. I thrive in working with teens and young adults who struggle with anxiety disorder, help my clients learn how to identify and engage in social and emotional life skills, and strongly encourages self-love and acceptance as a key tool in becoming a healthy, functioning individual. I apply cognitive approaches to engage clients in identifying root issues, processing those difficulties, and working through them.

We are a group of clinical and forensic psychologists who specialize in psychological assessment. We offer forensic, education/academic achievement, intelligence, personality, psychodiagnostic, immigration, and other psychological assessment services. Examples of forensic evaluations include competence to stand trial (fitness to proceed), criminal responsibility (insanity at the time of the offense), culpable mental state, violence risk, fitness for duty, personal injury/damages, and assessment of other competencies. We are equipped to assess children and adults of all ages and can assess for medical purposes (e.g., surgery).

Children’s mental health is an essential part of their overall health. My passion lies in providing effective care to children, adolescents, and families in order to help them live happier and healtiery lives. I have provided mental health services since 2006, which have included individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, behavior management, parenting skills training, intensive family services, consultation, and psychological assessment. I am certified in Trauma Focused CBT. I also use a variety of other techniques to help (CBT, solution-focused, person-centered, and therapeutic play).

Laurent Lefevre (they/them) is an outpatient psychotherapist at Cardinal Counseling. Laurent specializes in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety across the lifespan, and is experienced in providing individual and family therapy. With a background in outpatient clinic settings, school-based environments, and university counseling settings, they are dedicated to guiding individuals and families toward healing and growth. As a bilingual Belgian-American citizen, Laurent is sensitive to cross-cultural experiences and is dedicated to holding space for everyone, especially LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.

Christina Garrett is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience in individual, family, and group therapy. She received her undergraduate in Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas, her Master of Education from American Intercontinental University, and her Master of Counseling with a specialty in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has experience working with clients with various mental health disorders including ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, and adjustment disorders. She has worked with all populations but primarily works with children (4+).
