Significant life events can cause stress that might lead to emotional and/or behavioral problems. When these changes are noticed it is helpful to have a professional assess the biological psychological and social functioning of the individual. These assessments are completed with the purpose of identifying present strengths and needs, and together draw a road map to achieve a higher level of functioning.

I provide individual, couple's and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or social difficulties. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with more than ten years of experience. I co-founded Sunshine State Counseling Center. Hello! My name is Michael Pinter and I specialize in counseling, psychoeducational assessment, and consultation. I provide services to individuals, couples, and families in my practice. Specifically, my services address issues with children, adolescents, and adults who present signs of: anxiety impulses, depression despair, obsessive compulsive behaviors, learning difficulties, relationship issues, life stage transitions, divorce challenges, or related problems. I use an empathic approach to understanding you and your current concerns and we will maneuver them together by building our therapeutic relationship.

Natalia German is a Clinical Mental Health Registered Intern with the state of Florida, working towards her Clinical Licensure. Natalia earned her bachelor’s degree from Capella University. Recently, she completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Natalia has previous experience working with children in the school setting in Collier County, where she was a student intern. Natalia has experience being a victim’s advocate/counselor with Project HELP since May of 2022. She has seen clients across the lifespan presenting with grief, victimization, depression, PTSD, and relational distress.

I use a mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral approach to help children, adolescents, and adults manage daily stressors and obstacles. I specialize in wellness and work-life balance. I have expertise in training others in use of emotional expression and body language to improve confidence, personal and business relationships, and effectiveness in sales.

I am a school psychologist at Katz Counseling and Educational Psychology. I use a cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approach to counseling children, adolescents, adults, and families. My aim is to help clients identify and improve unproductive thoughts and behaviors. I also teach clients how to recognize and harness their strengths to realize their potential. Comprehensive mental health, academic, intellectual, and personality assessments are offered. These assessments can provide documentation for academic/standardized testing accommodations, vocational rehabilitation, and gifted/special education placement.
