Over the past thirty years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, Post-concussive syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities, ASD, addiction, grief, and trauma. Recognizing that individuals experience stress in many aspects of their life and struggle with life's transitions, I work with children and adolescents transitioning through the stages of development and with adults facing marital, parenting, custody and relationship issues. I conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing to evaluate for mental health, academic, and neurological issues.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and one of the owners of a group practice called Inspire Wellness. Inspire Wellness is made up of 25 clinicians with various specialties. We have offices throughout Bergen County offering therapy, Sport Psychology, Neuropsychological Testing, and Forensic Psychology. Working in a group decreases the likelihood that we run a waiting list and allows clients to find a clinician with the specialty and approach that fits their specific need. We have a full office staff that are able and willing to answer your questions and will assist you in dealing with your insurance needs.

Having had a diversity of experiences allows me a unique ability to approach helping others. I provide neuropsychological assessment as well as a variety of treatment services, using an mix of various orientations and modalities. I understand how cognitive and emotional difficulties can impact not just school/work functioning but also personal relationships and family life. I appreciate that parents and families can play an important role in treatment and include them when appropriate. I work with a variety of emotional and neurological issues with the ultimate goal of helping my clients get the most they can from their lives.

Seeking therapy for your child can be overwhelming and it is important to work with a therapist who is collaborative and consistently available to parents.I specialize in play therapy with young children and psychotherapy for teens and I often work with youngsters coping with chronic medical illness. My approach is creative, warm and accessible to all family members and I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral strategies, art therapy, sand play therapy, and group counseling. I frequently assist parents in becoming "on the same page" regarding their children and I help caregivers to review their own parenting styles.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and work with adults, young adults/college students, teens, adolescents, and children in individual therapy. I work with a diversity of clients struggling with life transitions and adjustments, anxiety disorders (general, OCD, phobias, panic), depression, communication issues, trauma, grief and loss, sexuality and gender identity, educational or occupational difficulties, executive functioning, and parenting/caretaking. When working with young children I always work with their parents as well. I also offer school observations, for children ages 3-10, as needed for assessment and planning.

Dr. Stacy Haynes is a specialist in the treatment of behavioral and emotional disturbance of children, adults and families. Stacy uses evidenced based practices in working with children and families to help strengthen children and families. Dr. Stacy Haynes, Ed.D, LPC, ACS is a counseling psychologist who specializes in the needs of children, families and parenting concerns. She has over 20 years experience in the treatment of every day challenging family concerns. Her practice Little Hands Family Services provides group, individual, couples, and medication management services to all members in a family.
