I believe that the relationship between me and my clients is the foundation on which, together, we will help you to understand yourself better, realize the patterns that are holding you back, and make the changes that you decide are enriching for your life. A large portion of my practice focuses on work with clients who struggle with issues related to trauma, attachment, and interpersonal wounding. This has led to an extensive background in many different disorders and presentations. In addition to working with individual clients, I also work with parents, including adoptive parents.

I have been working with children and families for over 16 years. I am passionate about supporting families and children to reach their full potential, in any place they may be in life. I have experience working as a developmental specialist and a mental health counselor. I support families to work through a number of challenges, including, developmental differences in a child, trauma, and relationship issues. I use an eclectic approach of parent-child interaction therapy, strength based and attachment-based approaches.

I am a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider (Massachusetts Lic. #9724) delivering in-office, community-based, and tele-psychology (e.g., HIPAA-compliant video conferencing) services to children, teens, parents, and educators. ​Utilizing psychological science, I work to promote mental health and wellness in 3-17 year olds. I invest a great deal of time with young patients and their families up front, which allows for well-informed, high quality interventions.

Questions about your child's neuropsychological functioning can arise at any point between preschool and college. I specialize in child, adolescent and young adult neuropsychological and attention disorder evaluations. My goal is to understand what may be interfering with your child's ability to be successful in school settings - academically, behaviorally and/or socially. Examples of common parental concerns include: problems with attention and concentration, problems with organization and planning, learning disabilities, memory issues, developmental delays/intellectual disabilities, and questions of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I work with children, adolescents and young adults, who struggle with depression, anxiety, difficulties regulating emotions, self-harm, suicidal ideation and borderline personality disorder (BPD). I also have experience treating those with mild intellectual disability, Autism and behavioral disorders. I'm certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Interventions from Boston University and I am trained in DBT, from Behavioral Tech, LLC

Mary Calabrese is an experienced clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist practicing in Concord, Massachusetts. She conducts neuropsychological evaluations through testing of cognitive and learning issues such as ADHD and dyslexia. She also provides guidance for parents struggling to connect with their children. She takes a warm, problem solving approach to you and your concerns. Her goal is to identify blocks you put in your way, provide the tools to take control of your own life, and develop lifelong strategies to foster your independence. Adults, college students, adolescents, and children are welcome.

I work collaboratively with families, couples, and individuals who wish to make changes in their lives, to feel better and more aligned with their life goals. Couples may seek therapy to understand and implement goals for their relationships as couples and parents. I work with individuals who identify as having social, emotional, or learning challenges. I bring attention to the body as key to understanding emotions and knowledge of self. I am respectful and curious about you. I use systemic and trauma-focused approaches to guide your discovery, presuming competency in your path and process toward change.

My passion and dedication to the work is evident upon our first meeting. My positive energy stems from the belief that change is possible and I come to restore hope. I provide an open, compassionate and non judgmental space for my clients to explore their past and present lives. Collaboratively, we work together, at your pace, to obtain the goals that you identify. I believe that parenting is a journey that we undertake without a map and, at times, along the way, we all get lost. And, together, we can create a new path that feels good to you.

To establish a relationship with a therapist takes time and can be rewarding when you are able to build trust, knowing you are able to confide and share your perspective, your story. As an Occupational Therapist with a background in behavioral health, I take a holistic approach.

I have been working as a child and adolescent psychotherapist for over 30 years, addressing a myriad of issues that keep children from reaching their full potential. Through play therapy, discussion, improving family communication, and teaching coping strategies, I am able to form trusting relationships with my clients that allow them to overcome challenges. I have helped many children and adolescents improve their self esteem, make better choices, cope with depression and anxiety, stop self-harm, navigate school problems, and improve social interactions. I also work with parents to help them achieve greater harmony with children.
