I believe therapy is a place of non-judgment that allows you to express your thoughts, emotions, and the secrets we only tell ourselves. I believe that each person is an individual and their world is unique. I approach therapy with my clients by helping to explore the world as they see it and act as a guide to help them become more self-empowered. My goal with every client is to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I have found a client-centered approach, in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy, aids in the client’s overall experience and understanding. I additionally use aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, Substance Abuse, and adolescents.
