Announcement icon As always, I provide Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, and phone sessions; I am working exclusively online or by phone at the present time. Thanks!
I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to gain a better understanding of themselves in order to lead happier, more productive and more stable lives. I work well with people experiencing anxiety, depression, and mood disorders as well as those dealing with relationship issues who are having difficulty managing the everyday stressors of their lives, which impede on their capacity for productivity and satisfaction. While psychotherapy and psychoanalysis allow individuals to more deeply explore their emotions, behaviors, and relationships, I also integrate skills training, coaching, and coping strategies that allow one to function more effectively in interpersonal, professional, and creative situations.
I also have extensive experience working with patients experiencing chronic pain and illness at various sites, including Beth Israel Medical Center, NY-Presbyterian Hospital, and Jacobi Medical Center. My consultation-liaison psychiatry background, which addresses patients experiencing medical and psychiatric issues allows me to support the intersection of physical and psychological health.
In addition to my clinical training, I have an extensive background in the arts. Consequently, I am able to provide both supportive and solution-focused therapies to cope with creative, professional, and personal pressures for those who make (or are trying to make) a living in the creative arts.

Professional Connections

Dr. Kray is an outstanding clinician with years of solid psychotherapy experience. He has been a health psychologist working for the New York City hospital system with an extensive knowledge of medicine, psychiatry and of course clinical psychology. He is accessible, warm, enthusiastic and has a wicked sense of humor. I know he has helped many people, and I believe brings a human element to the therapeutic connection not seen with many therapists.
