When you wake up in the morning, is the first thing that pops into your mind a four-letter word? I effin' get it. Grief, trauma, and major life changes can knock the wind out of you and make getting out of bed feel exhausting. I've been there, and now I work there. I help adults and teens navigate loss, emotional overwhelm, and the disorienting feeling that life no longer looks the way it was “supposed” to.
Grief often brings a second loss: the loss of identity. We don't just mourn the person or thing we've lost—we mourn the futures we imagined and the versions of ourselves we expected to be. Together, we'll make sense of what's happened and explore who you want to become in the wake of it.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which means we'll explore how past experiences continue to shape your present. As a Bronx native and former WGA screenwriter, I connect especially well with creatives, hard-headed skeptics, and those who aren't quite sure what to make of therapy. I offer in-person sessions in Boulder and telehealth in CO & CA.
