The key principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (the impact that our feelings, thoughts, and actions have on each other) can be life changing when embraced. CBT teaches us to be better stewards of ourselves and allows us to take charge of feeling better and maintaining our improvements after we've achieved them with our changed perspective and skill set. By focusing on CBT practices, specifically the concept of increasing self awareness, we become better equipped at managing the triggers in our lives, navigating our choices, and regulating our emotions. As this happens, we begin to better utilize our natural skill sets and developing new ones, breaking negative patterns, and living a more fulfilling life.
