My Focus and Specialties: I believe that the creation of a warm, supportive therapeutic relationship is at the core of healing. I strive to meet you where you are at on your life path and bring my knowledge to yours to enrich your life as fully as possible. My diverse background in the healing arts has made me highly effective with persons experiencing life transitions, crisis and trauma related concerns, stress, anxiety, and depression management, interpersonal relationships and communication problems, divorce, LGBTQ matters, and geriatrics.
My Techniques: I believe the best healing happens when you heal the whole and not just the parts. To that end, I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with the elements of Person Centered Therapy, and Positive Psychology with the elements of Holistic Healing, so that the mind, body, and soul are optimized.
About me: I was born in Detroit, Michigan and have lived in various parts of Texas since 1980. When not working, I like to occupy my time with yoga, photography, mountain biking, weightlifting, personal training, and concerts. I am a former youth soccer coach, a former dance dad, a former FFA dad and ranch hand, and a retired crossfit enthusiast.
