The therapeutic relationship is Key to the healing and growth in clients' lives. I have an approach to therapy that Honors it. With it, I support clients in feeling safe and secure during sessions. Clients must feel physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe to explore vulnerable experiences, process and work through trauma, and discover new aspects of themselves. The therapy comes alive as clients safely practice self regulation, explore their deepest experiences, heal past wounds, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling experience of being alive.
Experientially, I support couples in session to develop deeper bonds and strengthen their ties. They practice working together when they become triggered. I empower them to regulate themselves and one another, if they choose to. I also support and empower them in being clear with one another, when they decide their relationship is coming to an end.
