Within our sorrows and fears is the strength needed to overcome our challenges. Hidden in the tone of your voice, in your casual movements, you are constantly leaving yourself clues to guide you. You and I will seek them together. My approach focuses on the whole experience of health through practical methods, grounded in knowledge of cultural diversity. With personalized treatment and assessment, I offer therapy for sustainable change. I also provide testing for personality functioning, cognitive abilities and learning problems. My forensic work for courts focuses on child custody and parenting time evaluations.
Over twenty years of experience I have learned that psychological services must be collaborative. I specialize in assessing problems that disrupt development and impair relationships, from trauma and mood disturbance to family violence. I work to improve the health of children, adolescents, and adults, and can offer references from across my career.
In my training, I sought ways to value cultural influences. I lived abroad and studied arts and beliefs from around the world, working in nontraditional settings.
