My ideal client are those who are seeking to know themselves better. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families who are or have been anxious, stressed, depressed, and/or having had experienced trauma.
My theoretical framework incorporates cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and spiritually based approaches. I specialize in working with the African American population, especially those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I approach counseling holistically. I approach counseling as an art and science. I utilize talk, drumming, meditation, music, cinema, and different forms of literature, as mechanisms to engage clients in the healing process. Additionally, this writer is trained in various psychological assessments including the MMPI, NEO, and ASPIRES.

This group meets monthly. In this group we discuss issues pertinent to Black men who reside in America. African Men have different experiences; however, there are those common experiences that they experience that can aid in the healing process.
