I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients on their journey towards healing. My therapy approach is highly collaborative. I value the therapeutic relationship more than any technique or theory itself. Initiating counseling is often a big and difficult step and I do my best to help you feel relaxed, comfortable and welcome. I am passionate about working with clients experiencing loss and grief. Many presenting issues come down to a loss- loss of a loved one, loss of a pregnancy, loss of hopes/dreams, loss of a marriage...and working through loss requires time, connection and a safe place.

I believe the body holds the stories words can’t always tell. My work integrates depth psychology, somatic and attachment-based approaches, and the transformative power of psychedelic-assisted therapy (KAP). I specialize in supporting clients who "know" themselves intellectually but feel stuck repeating old patterns in their nervous systems. If you've done years of talk therapy yet still feel caught in self-doubt, people-pleasing, or self-abandonment, we work together to meet the youngest parts of you that have never been fully seen or held.

In a world that seems to change faster than we can keep up with, many of us long to feel deeply rooted. We want clarity in tough decisions, confidence in choosing our battles, and the ability to cultivate joy rather than constantly chase after it. My goal is to help clients understand what they want for their future and identify manageable steps to get there. Through our work together, you’ll develop tools to manage anxiety, depression, and the stressors of everyday life. By clarifying your values and priorities, you can move into each new stage of life with clarity, confidence, and a grounded sense of purpose.

Going to therapy can be a tough decision to make and you might have a lot of different feelings about being here. We all have "stuff" that we are holding on to and sometimes we did not choose for that "stuff" to be there. That "stuff" comes from a variety of places throughout our lives: from our past, from our family lineage, or maybe it just arrived. Regardless of its origin, my role is to help you access the process of the healing you already have within you with. I am dedicated to guiding you in exploring your potential for living a life you want to create. It would be an honor to share this space with you!

Wife. Mother. Therapist. Navigator. I value my authentic self and believe we all can trace life’s imprints to dive into the core of who we are versus what life has conditioned us to be. I hone in on my abilities to help all you navigators explore whichever capacities it is that you seek to grow through, heal from, or transition into. You are not just another name, but a whole light. We are all perfectly imperfect. I truly believe you can become stronger through a healthier relationship with yourself and others when equipped with the proper navigational tools.

Because we live in a broken world, we all experience trauma on some level (even if it doesn't "look" like trauma). If trauma has taken root, it residually shows up in our relationships with ourselves and others, dictates our perceptions & behaviors, and can even trap us into our own self-sustained mental prison. The question is not "what's wrong with you?", but instead "what happened to you?" I would be honored to hear your story & provide a safe space for you to unpack with no judgement. I am well-versed in Narrative Therapy, taking the stance that you are the expert on yourself.

Whether you are an adult navigating a difficult season or a parent concerned about your child or teen, seeking support can feel overwhelming. Emotional stress, behavioral challenges, and life transitions can impact not only the individual, but the entire family system. Many clients and caregivers reach out feeling exhausted, discouraged, and unsure where to turn next.
I focus on creating a safe space where children can feel comfortable expressing what they may not yet have words for, teens can share vulnerable emotions, and adults feel understood and empowered. I also work closely with parents to strengthen family relationships.

Showing up as your full self can feel uncomfortable, exhausting, or even impossible sometimes. Maybe you’ve spent years being the “strong one,” overthinking every interaction, carrying anxiety in your body, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the people around you. Maybe part of you knows something needs to shift, but you’re not quite sure where to begin. I see therapy as a space where you don’t have to perform, shrink yourself, or have everything figured out before you walk in. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself; reconnect with the parts of you that may have gotten lost.

I believe that all of us can benefit from additional support in different seasons of our lives. It takes bravery to reach out and meet with someone, and I’m passionate about building a relationship with my clients where they are able to engage with their own resilience and innate ability to heal. Many of us develop patterns that help us move through and cope with what we have experienced, and often, we realize these strategies are no longer serving us, and are keeping us from experiencing the full life we desire. I walk alongside my clients in helping them become reconnected to their true selves, and reach their goals.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.
Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.
Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.
How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
