We want to help you address life, relationship or legal problems which are keeping you from having your best life experiences. We believe that you can and will succeed in making healthy life changes. We want to provide you with skills and tools which lead you to success and personal happiness. We provide individual counseling as well as group therapy and education. We offer monthly DUI school/class. We offer 8, 10 and 12 hour all day Anger Management Classes one time each month. Parenting classes available upon special request.

At some point in time, every person experiences an impasse or issue in his or her life, and might need to regain some perspective or obtain support to help improve the situation. As a counselor, I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to work on life's issues, problems, or roadblocks. I work with and assist children, adolescents, and adults aged 11 years and up experiencing any number of issues such as, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, adjustment problems, financial health disorders, life stage changes, grief, parenting issues, relationship difficulties, work/career problems, and health concerns.

I am passionate about my work as a counselor, and I believe in the client and counselor relationship. Through this relationship, clients can be comfortable dealing with issues of addiction, anxiety, depression, family issues, grief, as well as many other personal issues. Exploration of these problem areas can lead to healing.

From 1977 to the present Dr. Ward has maintained his own private psychology practice. As a component of his practice he provided consulting psychological services to the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC) from 1981 to 2003. At TRC he conducted individual and group counseling for clients with a broad range of physical, emotional, and intellectual disabilities. He is a member of the Tennessee Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

I have worked in the profession for over 15 years, and I love being able to help my clients develop through various techniques. I work with children and adolescents, emerging adults, adults, and parents. In addition to individual services, I offer social skills, coping skills, self-esteem, and grief groups. I am LGBT+ friendly, and simply love working with my clients in an open and caring environment.

I believe we are created for relationships, which is why having healthy relational dynamics among family, friends, coworkers, or other individuals is crucial to our well being. There are many obstacles we face in our daily lives. Some situations we can easily navigate, while others can be more challenging and cause us to question ourselves and our ability to persevere and overcome. Hello, I am Dr. C.M. Teague and welcome to my practice. I entered this profession because I believe that everyone can be successful in life with the right support, increased self-awareness and insight that is unique to their life situations. I really enjoy seeing people be successful. I have a PhD in educational psychology, a MA in professional counseling, and a BS in psychology. I am a licensed professional counselor, mental health service provider and national certified counselor. I look forward to helping you develop a new way of thinking and a better way of living.

Strength is something we all need help with at times. It is my goal to guide clients through stressful and difficult times in order to help them develop the skills and perspective necessary to manage the constant struggles life hands us all.
