As a Registered Play Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor, I use play therapy tools to develop the heart, mind and soul of children. After working with children and families in private practice and in school settings for many years, my passion is to empower my clients through play. Through their natural language, play, children can learn to express their emotions and start to heal. I specialize in working with children ages 3 years to 12 years but can work with all ages. Common issues that my clients have are ADHD, anxiety, anger, sadness, school phobia, loss and grief, change in their families, and social anxiety.
We strive to build relationships that heal. Learn how to feel more connected to yourself, others and the world around you. Therapy provides all the elements of intimacy: honest communication, vulnerability and trust. Good therapy is challenging yet warm, providing both structure and empathy for your unique experience. We are a collective of therapists with a wide range of specialties. Our intake professionals will help connect you with the right therapist for your needs. We make appointments easy, offering evenings and weekends and flexibility for creative professionals who can't make the same time each week.

I believe that there is hope and possibility in life for all people. I want to empower individuals and families to expand their capacity, find brave space and write a new story for themselves. Clients I work with struggle with many different things - anxiety, depression and/ or low self esteem or they may have warped relationships with food, money or sex. Yet, through creating a place where they can listen to themselves, challenge the old stories that are no longer serving them and tapping into the courage to imagine and build a new future - growth happens. Growth is possible and each person has the ability to thrive.

I work with kids, adolescents, and adults who feel stuck; they are experiencing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and disordered eating. Many have carried the weight of traumatic experiences for as long as they can remember. Many feel that they spend excess time worrying about food and their bodies and find it hard to engage fully in their lives. They continue to feel out of control of their relationships, their bodies, and their emotions. They feel numb and isolated on the surface, and deep down feel hurt and helpless.
If you have experienced complex trauma, generational trauma, secondary trauma, medical trauma, religious trauma, or narcissistic abuse, you may have struggled to gain the support that you deserve due to the fact that there are still many types of trauma that are under-recognized. I have a passion for using creativity, authentic connection, and even evidence based research on the ways that trauma and chronic stress impact the brain, to individualize therapy for your unique strengths and goals. My commitment to individualizing care also includes neurodiversity training and experience working with those on the autism spectrum.

Greetings, my initial objective is to provide my client with some relief. My primary objective is to empower my client. Both processes begin with meeting the client where they are on their current life journey while building rapport with client-centered therapeutic techniques. I appreciate and respect that every client is different. As a result, we work as a team to collaborate on their dreams, goals, desires, and objectives as well as on the way, equipping them with the tools for autonomy and self-reliance. We often do not know what we want out of life, but we register a gnawing dissatisfaction. Our desire is inhibited by something we cannot name. Psychoanalysis goes beyond reducing symptoms to provide a unique space to listen to your desire, where you can let go of standards and think out loud without judgment. You can bring your history, your dreams, anything that comes to mind. As you speak freely, you will begin to live more freely. If therapy hasn’t worked for you, psychoanalysis can offer you something different.
