Life events can be overwhelming and stressful especially if you do not have a positive support system. My purpose as a therapist is to provide a safe and validating environment for clients while also helping guide clients to confront their challenges. My goal is to explore with my clients what and how they would like to change their behaviors, relationships, and daily interactions.

Are you constantly contradicting yourself? A part of you wants to grow and transform into your “true” self, but then you feel as though you are self-sabotaging again. You question how you can work on yourself when you are the one preventing the growth. Pablo Neruda’s poem "We Are Many" describes the internal conflict that many of us feel. As a psychotherapist, I noticed that my clients needed something more than just traditional talk therapy. This realization led me to become a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist to help people “befriend” the internal conflict and embrace it with love and compassion.
Somewhere along the way, someone probably told you change is never easy. And they were right. When we face trials that leave us feeling broken, often we want to find this change but we don't know where to start. The opportunity to walk alongside clients as they strive for change is deeply meaningful to me. I believe that taking steps toward this new way of living is courageous and should be held as sacred. I strive to provide a safe, relaxed environment where we can navigate through the things you deem as "messy". You do not have to go it alone anymore. My goal is to focus on what you bring to the table to provide deep healing.
I am passionate about working with couples and individuals through major transitional stages of life to bring healing from issues of self-worth, core-identity, separation and divorce, anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, grief and loss, spirituality, communication difficulties, conflict management, relational trauma, sexual abuse, and co-dependency. I have completed advanced training to support individuals challenges in the perinatal life phase (conception- postpartum) biological, psychological, and social ramifications that accompany this season of life. My passion is to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. While woundings often occur in relationship, I also believe that healing happens in relationship. In navigating life woundings, we join together as a team to create safety, security, and trust in order to understand what brought you into the therapy. A firm believer in the power of discovering one’s own voice and core identity, my hope is that clients leave feeling more connected to the person they were created to be. A true extrovert and lover of conversation and exploration, I aim to have clients feel seen, understood, and heard.
Sometimes life can feel extra heavy, lonely, or overwhelming, and in these moments, you can feel stuck. Stuck in the frustrating feelings of this new or familiar season. Stuck in the anxiety, sadness, anger, relationship issues, or a constant fog that's difficult to name. Whatever it is- you do not have to be in it alone. There is space for all of that here. My hope and goal is to help clients find healing through better understanding themselves, their world, and their needs. I do this by creating safety and connection, so that you explore the parts of self that are causing distress and work towards wholeness.
Client agency is at the forefront of what I do. As a pre-licensed clinician, I get the opportunity to sit with you and be wildly curious about who you are and who you want to become while acknowledging and processing the pain, challenges, and celebrations along the way. I am passionate about the process of unraveling, and I believe in the power and gift of therapy. I look forward to facilitating that process with you, regardless of where you are in your journey. Please contact me for a free phone consultation to get started.

NOTE: Email is the quickest way to reach me. If you call, please leave a name. Are you going through something that others do not seem to get or understand? Does a loss seem to be affecting you far more than the "normal stages" of grief? Perhaps you find that you cannot get past certain images in your mind of a moment in your life. Time and time again you are not able to find relief. On top of that, others do not seem to understand why you are affected so deeply. You struggle to communicate the thoughts and feelings that consume you.
One of the most difficult questions to answer is often the simplest one: What do you want? We often fixate on the needs and desires of others, losing touch with our own. I believe your desires are powerful beyond belief. They make you unique and hold the key that unlock freedom and opportunity. As we discover them, we can heal blocks, often past trauma, that hold us back, in order to create something new. I'd love to partner with you and explore where you've been and want to go. Together, we will co-create a beautiful path forward and write a compelling next chapter where you play the Hero.
For most of your life, you’ve done what you were "supposed" to do & followed a path that others have laid for you—all for the sake of fitting in & maintaining relationships. But despite your best efforts, it feels like you're living a life not entirely your own—you’re feeling stuck in a lack of purpose, low self-confidence & overpowered by your inner critic. You've disconnected from your authentic self & know you aren't living a life in alignment with your soul’s desires. The solution? (And yes, there is one) is to move toward a life of integrity—where your inner desires are a match to how you’re moving through the world.
Do you ever feel like maybe you should talk to someone but don’t feel like things are “bad enough” yet? Do you feel like “other people have it worse” and “I should be thankful” instead of asking for help? Maybe you don’t feel like adding one more thing to your already hectic schedule. You also probably just don’t feel like fighting traffic in what little free time you do have. Did you know your life doesn’t have to be completely falling apart in order to seek therapy services? What if I told you that you could cut the travel and maximize your precious free time by attending teletherapy services from the comfort of your own space?

Are you high functioning but with chronic pain or hidden addictions? Are you outwardly "successful' as a parent, or in your career, but your body tells a different story of: Irritable Bowel Syndrome; headaches; low-energy; auto-immune disorders and hard-to-manage emotions like anxiety and depression? Are you getting worried about yourself and using work; sex; spending; exercise; eating; alcohol, or chemicals to avoid painful emotions and to keep your life highly compartmentalized?
There's so much to be unsure of right now and SO much pressure to appear to have it all figured out. My goal as a therapist is to provide a space for you to just be a human. I work with folks from adolescence throughout all stages of adulthood who are looking to feel more connected and grounded. Whether you're feeling disconnected from your body, your relationships, your emotions, your values, I aim to hold space for my clients as they figure out what they truly want out of life and find their footing when it seems lost.
My clients present with a variety of mental health concerns and life challenges. I commonly work with individuals who numb their emotions with unhealthy or impulsive behaviors; I also see clients for support with managing difficult relationships, dealing with stressors, or navigating life transitions. My clients tend to need to find safety in experiencing their emotions, to clarify their boundaries and goals, and to learn to communicate assertively. My clients tend to want coping skills for managing difficult emotions effectively, and guidance for how to take intentional action towards their values and goals.

Do you feel disconnected from your partner and are you unhappy with the current state of your relationship? Or is your relationship in crisis and you are considering divorce or separation? Or maybe you are between relationships and you want to explore your patterns and history in order to gain clarity so that you can "pick better" in the future.
I find great joy in working with clients as they gain insight and skills to explore these important issues.

I have always said a willing client is my favorite kind of client. It is likely you do not want to feel unwanted emotions, you don't even have to engage in self-improvement but the question is... are you willing to take a leap of faith towards personal healing?
