Somewhere along the way, you learned to be who you needed to be in order to be loved — perfect, good, quiet, selfless. Maybe that meant hiding your needs, dulling your sensitivity, or putting everyone else first. Changing yourself in these ways may no longer seem necessary, but you still feel the impact of those messages — in your relationships, in your body, in the way you speak to yourself when no one’s listening. And you're tired. Tired of performing, tired of questioning your worth, tired of feeling like too much and not enough all at once.

Feel more grounded, connected, and at ease—whether we meet in person or online. I offer therapy for adults ready to slow down, tune in, and create meaningful change. In-person sessions are held in Nashville, and my virtual practice is open to adults across Tennessee, including Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. Many of the people I work with are navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, or relationship patterns that leave them feeling stuck. If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s okay—we’ll move at your pace and explore what’s getting in the way.

In my practice I typically work with adults individually (in one-on-one sessions). Many of my clients have experienced problems with mood, particularly anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are needing assistance with difficult relationships, trauma recovery, transitional life issues, and stress management.

My favorite all-time bumper sticker: Don't Believe Everything You Think! Obviously, everyone has problems in life, but both sages and scientists have discovered that how we think about our problems is a crucial variable in whether we grow through difficulties (past or present), or get mired in difficult emotions and unhelpful behavior patterns. While we all have unique histories and personalities, what leads to healing and change generally applies to all of us. But more than ever, we are living on "autopilot," and just trying to keep up. All the while, our busy minds provide a running commentary, often full of fear and criticism.

Welcome to a new style of psychotherapy. Instead of diagnosing you with a "disease" or "disorder" and treating you like a patient, I'm work with you to help you to do three things: (1) understand what happened in your past that led you to the habits and realities you now face that are causing you pain, (2) help you develop the compassion you need in order to (3) develop an unconditional and irrevocable self-love. That's how we heal. We learn to love ourselves unconditionally.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga instructor with a passion for holistic healing. I believe that every individual has the innate ability to heal from within, and I am here to offer the compassionate support you need to embark on that journey. Many of us attempt to reason our way out of suffering, but this often leads to self-doubt and frustration. My approach invites you to explore your emotions and experiences with curiosity and self-compassion, helping you engage with stress in a more mindful way. By combining trauma-informed and evidence-based practices, I work with you to unlock your true potential.
