My ideal client is someone who feels trapped by shame, the LGBTQ individual exhausted by explaining their identity, the trauma survivor haunted by memories they can’t outrun, or the couple drowning in silence after betrayal. They want more than “coping” they crave a space where their sexuality, identity, or pain isn’t pathologized, but met with respect. Often tired of judgment from society, partners, or their own inner critic, and need a therapist who "gets it". Clients seek to reclaim agency to untangle trauma’s grip, rebuild trust after infidelity, or finally embrace desire without guilt. They’re ready to heal, not just survive.

Life is a gift that brings many joyful opportunities AND it also brings times of pain, suffering and added pressure. Perhaps you've found it harder to enjoy the blessings of life lately because of a hard transition, a difficult relationship or a traumatic event. Perhaps you've found yourself using destructive habits to cope with the stress such as dysfunctional eating, excessive alcohol use, perfectionism or isolation. Perhaps you're very hard on yourself and have a very loud inner critic in your head, and part of the struggle is negative body image. And perhaps you also want support from a spiritual perspective.

I draw from attachment theory, IFS, Jungian psychology, and incorporate somatic work, EMDR, Brainspotting, EFT, and 12-step insights—all to help clients access their authentic self.
I work with individuals and couples to break old patterns, move through stuck places, and discover new pathways for growth. My approach centers on three key models: the Trauma Model (how unprocessed pain shapes perception), the Patterns Model (the unconscious strategies we use to survive), and the Story Model (the narratives we tell about who we are and what’s possible). We process through emotions, thoughts, and the body to shift out of limiting states and move toward the higher self. I work best with those who are ready to do the work.

Arriving at the place of wholeness oftentimes is a journey. That path has “detours” and “construction” blocks along the way. Some of us barrel through those and some of us turn around. Either direction leaves us in a place where we need healing. We all have the strength to conquer our adversities and I want to partner with you.

Some of our clinicians are certified or have advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Jungian Sandplay Therapy; we also use modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and DBT.
It is natural to experience a range of emotions; some flooding us thoroughly, and others frozen at our core. Sometimes we all feel challenged by life itself—anxious about change, lonely with ourselves, feeling captive by our past, and running from our fears. This is why it can be helpful to seek out a therapist. Our counseling practice is focused on helping adults and teens who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, and chronic stress. As clinical therapists and trauma specialists, we can help you to better recognize and resolve challenges, so you can feel better oriented to your present and prepared to create a balanced future.

I am passionate about helping adolescents and young adults heal, grow and transform into their truest self. You may feel weighed down by family, cultural, or societal expectations, carrying questions, grief, or doubt that feels too heavy to face alone. Perhaps you’re untangling old beliefs or messages from your past — including spiritual or religious expectations — exploring your identity, navigating neurodiverse experiences, or moving through loss and life transitions. Some clients feel unseen or disconnected, while others long for clarity, understanding, and a sense of belonging. Together, we create a safe, affirming space to explore your story, heal old wounds, and build more meaningful connections with yourself and others.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a PhD in Depth Psychology ( Jungian), and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I’m Dr. Chanin, a depth-oriented somatic psychotherapist and intuitive, dedicated to helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and heal what has been held in your nervous system for far too long. Healing is relational, embodied, and an integrative process. We all innately have what we need to heal, grow, or transform; all we need is a witness or present non-judgmental support. Allow me to be your witness and support you on your journey. Healing is not a destination; it is a process of awareness, acceptance, and transformation. I’m here to help you reclaim what trauma, loss, and systems may have taken away: connection to Self.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
