I really love (& have lots of experience) working with people at the following intersections: complex PTSD (especially religious trauma & sexual trauma), faith deconstruction, healing from purity culture, ethical non-monogamy/polyamory, kink, and gender/sexual identity. I am fiercely LGBTQ+ affirming, you are seen & celebrated here! I work from a non-religious, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens, with a focus on building self-compassion and mindfulness practices.

Waitlist for new clients
I affirm neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, & cultural identities.
Treatment for psychological disorders is better than ever. I specialize in offering new, evidence-based treatment options for OCD and related/co-occuring conditions that are more gentle and affirming than traditional approaches. How you experience OCD can be influenced by ADHD, Autism, racism, LGBTQ+ identity, trauma history, substance use and other contextual and identity factors. I'm here to listen with humility and acceptance (no thoughts are too shameful or taboo), make a thoughtful diagnosis, and gently guide you through science-backed treatment. Best of all, we can do it all from the comfort of home via videoconferencing.

I am also a proud ally and supporter of the LGBT extended community and both comfortable and enthusiastic working with LGBT individuals and couples and the unique issues you face.
Making that initial contact is by far the hardest part. I appreciate you reaching out to me. Making it easy to discuss difficult topics is my job, and that happens by making sure you know you are in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. People may seek out counseling due to a wide variety of feelings: fear, anxiety, stress, depression, anger, sadness, confusion, apathy, heartbreak, grief, or any other aspect of the incredibly complex human experience. I'm honored to help you on your journey towards emotional recovery and growth. I try to keep costs reasonable and affordable.

I specialize in adult ADHD, anxiety, grief, burnout, and affirming care for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Reaching out to a therapist can be scary, especially if you've had a bad experience. My approach is non-judgmental, individualized, and collaborative, and I strongly believe it is key to first earn the trust of my clients. My style has been developed over the nearly two decades I've worked in mental health and through the 9,000+ hours of therapy, coaching, and supervision I've offered since becoming a therapist in 2011.

As a queer Chicano with ADHD, I understand the pain and trauma of struggling in ways that others cannot see or understand – of blaming myself for failing to do what others seemed to do so naturally and easily.
( ( ( Availability for neurodivergent coaching or mental health therapy. Looking for recently diagnosed/self-diagnosed Autistic/ADHD teens or adults ) ) ) I am a neurodivergent coach and therapist. This means that I am neurodivergent, but also that I work exclusively with neurodivergent people, from a neurodivergent perspective. Neurodivergent means "a brain that diverges from the norm," I use it to refer collectively to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia – brains that are not ill or broken, but fundamentally wired differently than the average person. If this describes you, then you've come to the right place.

Whether your family includes BIPOC, LGBTQ+, differently abled, gifted, special needs, or members of another what I call "stand out community," I am here to help you all self-discover, increase your emotional and social awareness, learn to critically think and make wise choices, and replace harmful reactions with thoughtful responses to tough situations.
Hello, I'm Icy Diamond, a licensed social worker at Radical Change Therapy where I provide a collaborative and safe environment for children to develop healthy behavior patterns and positive coping strategies while working alongside their families to understand their reactions and behavior through the lens of intergenerational interpersonal trauma. Processing family trauma allows parents to understand and rework how they show up for their children, children to seize the maturity and motivation to create new family legacies, and families as a whole to build the rapport and resilience needed to heal and move forward together.

Are you questioning your identity and wanting to make a change? Do you struggle with feelings of guilt or shame? Are you worried about navigating the unknown? You may be Queer, Trans, Nonbinary, or questioning your gender or sexuality. Or you may be wanting to explore ethical nonmonogamy, polyamory, a kink identity, or unconventional sexual expression in your relationships. Like many of us, you may simply not fit in the box society has asked you to fit in while struggling to reconcile the world you grew up in with the world you want.

LGBTQ+ affirming.
You many be feeling overwhelmed, isolated, anxious, depressed, and reliving past traumatic experiences, but hopeful for understanding, confidence, and peace? Through my work in sexual assault centers, domestic violence shelters, in private practice, and at Onsite Workshops I have learned how trauma is stored in the body, how it creates negative beliefs about the self, how it keeps us from living in the present moment and how it keeps us from connecting to those around us. Working with me feels like gentle confrontation and resource building in order to delve into past wounds with a deeply open, knowledgeable, and compassionate ally.
