Many struggle with life issues, however when issues arise that are very difficult to resolve, the insight of a compassionate and objective professional can be very beneficial. The issues that arise in life are as varied as the individuals experiencing them causing one to feel overwhelmed, unhappy and dissatisfied. It is my hope that you will pursue the peace and purpose in life that you deserve.

You’ve been carrying a lot — maybe quietly. Even when things look “fine” on the outside, inside you may feel drained, anxious, or disconnected. You’re not broken — you’re human. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals who appear composed and capable yet feel weighed down by overthinking, self-doubt, or the constant pressure to do more. In therapy, the goal is to turn down the noise that keeps you stuck so you can refocus on what’s meaningful and fulfilling. Together, we’ll uncover what drives your stress, strengthen how you relate to yourself and others, and create more calm, clarity, and purpose in daily life.

One of my very favorite quotes by Brene Brown is, "Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they are never weakness." As life will sometimes present challenges that may be difficult to navigate, it's not necessary to navigate those challenges alone. I would love to support you in discovering the courage to navigate your truth. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I offer treatment that is goal oriented using a variety of therapeutic approaches.

Whether it’s addictions, self worth, identity fractures, deep grief, dark trauma, or anything in between- I offer a safe place to land, learn and lean into WHO and HOW you want to be…now. We do it with grace, some gumption and honesty. You can expect: one part trauma-informed emotional GPS, One part practical strategy, one part truth bomb-catcher, and always ready to collaborate WITH you to unlearn, uncover what isn’t working and then discover what brings you back to you. There is a time to push for progress — but ALSO a to pause and listen…to the inner whispers.

I am a Holistic Therapist meaning I treat mental health through the lens of the whole person: emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual. I offer experiences treating depression, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders and other mental health issues aiming to bring clients into their bodies and out of the mode of traditional talk therapy. These include psychodrama, sand tray, art, and yoga therapy. Wounding happens through living, relational, body-felt experiences and require similar experiences to heal. I create a safe container and relationship for the natural process of healing to occur. Expect to move, breath, and feel... we will not just sit and talk.

Sometimes, our minds simply won’t slow down especially when dealing with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and the impact of past or ongoing trauma can feel heavy, confusing, and at times frightening. It can be hard to make sense of what you’re feeling, let alone know what to do next. You might be stuck in loops of overthinking, replaying conversations, or questioning your own thoughts. It can be exhausting to feel like your mind never gives you a break. We all need a space where we can feel safe, heard, seen, and cared about as we work through the hard and hidden spots in us.

Life can bring many seasons. Some seasons can be challenging, making us question our worth and purpose. Other seasons feel permanent, leaving us feeling stuck and hopeless. Or maybe we experience a change, forcing us to shift and transition. My desire is to meet you exactly where you are, no matter the season you find yourself in. I hope to walk with you towards a place of growth as you realize your strengths and self-worth. Regardless of where you find yourself, you deserve to feel supported and heard

I am passionate and committed to helping my clients wake up to their true self that has always been there, but might be buried beneath layers of hurt, loss, trauma, grief, and learned patterns of behavior. Through my own journey of growth and healing, I want you to experience the same thing, discovering your sense of worth and value. My goal is to create a safe place where we can explore, seek answers, and address struggles and challenges you are facing. We will grapple with what to hold on to and what to unlearn or discard, and help you develop a relationship with yourself that feels good, grounded, and meaningful.

I have a strong passion for partnering with clients in the process of breaking free from the dynamics and behaviors keeping them disconnected from their lives. This could include addressing trauma, shame, family of origin issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, and other issues creating distance in clients' relationships-with others and with themselves. "Surviving" life is very different from truly living it, and I feel honored to help others begin to reclaim their lives and their bodies as they discover freedom from those burdens.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
