Seeking support can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating complex emotions or painful life experiences, but you don't have to move through this process alone. I specialize in trauma-informed care and deeply understand how past and present experiences shape emotional well-being, behavior patterns, and the sense of self. In integrating evidence-based modalities, I gently explore the challenges that bring you to treatment—whether rooted in long-standing wounds, recent stressors, or periods of transition. I believe healing is a process that nurtures growth, fosters inner peace, and restores connection to one’s authentic self.

My theoretical approach is Eclectic, founded primarily on family systems, narrative therapy and attachment-based therapy.
I believe we are desperate to be both known and loved completely. Most of our experience, however, tells us this is impossible. How could anyone who truly knows me still love me? What kind of love am I really experiencing if they love me but don't know the truth about me? I believe our stories take shape in how we try (and often fail) to reconcile this seeming paradox.

My ideal clients are men, healthcare workers, and early-career professionals who are tired of carrying something they haven't had the right space to put down. They often come in navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or a quiet sense that they've lost touch with who they are. Some have never been to therapy before. What they share is a readiness, even if it's uncomfortable, to be honest. That's all I need to get started.

I draw from evidence-based and relational approaches such as EMDR, somatic and attachment-based therapies, and parts work.
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, struggling with shame, anxiety or relationship difficulties.
Complex trauma often develops over time — through chronic stress, attachment wounds, emotional neglect, or repeated relational harm. Trauma can deeply impact one’s sense of safety, identity, and trust in others. I believe symptoms such as anxiety, dissociation, perfectionism, people-pleasing are not character flaws, but adaptive responses to experiences that once felt overwhelming or unsafe.

I work with adults who grew up feeling emotionally unseen or unsupported. Many are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they can’t fully explain. You might overthink, carry a lot on your own, struggle to trust yourself, or feel like you’re just going through the motions. Some clients know their past impacted them—others just know something feels “off.”

I am experienced in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ and ENM communities, neurodivergent folks, and those whose lives question social norms. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, integrating body-centered methods like EMDR and mindfulness, coping strategies such as CBT and DBT, and deeper explorations using attachment-based therapies to help you process past pain and build resilience.
My ideal clients are adults navigating anxiety, grief, relational wounds, and the quiet weight of not feeling like enough. They’ve often spent years managing alone — through loss, difficult relationships, or a life that hasn’t unfolded the way they expected. Some come needing immediate relief from symptoms that have become unmanageable. Others come ready to understand themselves more deeply, even when that feels uncertain. Most need both.

Many of us struggle with defenses and behaviors we have developed in order to escape the pain of our lives, whether it be in the form of substances, food, sex/relationships, work, perfectionism, dissociation, or something else, and in our understandable attempts to avoid this pain we become disconnected from our authentic self and body in the process. As a result, we can often wind up creating even more suffering for ourselves and begin to not only numb the pain, but the joys as well.

I believe that we are designed to exist with the whole of ourselves being able to commune together and take up space. Maybe you even believe it and yet as hard as you have tried, there are just some places within yourself that feel impossible to get to, some patterns that feel impossible to move out of, some emotional expressions and experiences that feel so out of reach. Or maybe you just feel stuck. Stuck in ways you can name and in some you can’t even put words to. Maybe it’s been like this forever — maybe you can’t even think of a time when you didn’t have to be vigilant or anxious or disconnected from parts of yourself.

You’re the one who keeps everything moving—showing up for work, family, and relationships—while quietly feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from yourself. You may look “fine” on the outside, but inside you’re craving relief, clarity, and space to breathe. You want support that feels grounding and real, and a way forward that helps you feel like yourself again—not just survive, but actually feel well.
