My passion lies in supporting adults through trauma, addictions, ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, depression, and developing self-worth.
Going to therapy can be a tough decision to make and you might have a lot of different feelings about being here. We all have "stuff" that we are holding on to and sometimes we did not choose for that "stuff" to be there. That "stuff" comes from a variety of places throughout our lives, and may have even just arrived. Regardless of its origin, my role is to help you access the process of the healing you already have within you. I am dedicated to guiding you in exploring your potential for living a life you want to create. It would be an honor to share this space with you!

That approachable style makes it easier to open up and face challenges like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
In an easy going, goal oriented, and collaborative environment we will begin building a genuine, honest relationship. By meeting you with experience, warmth and a belief that you can change, we will the begin the hard work of getting to the root issue of what may need to be untangled while utilizing tools between sessions in order to achieve results.

Weaving elements of family systems, mindfulness, parts work, and creative arts techniques into sessions, I strive to support teens, adults and couples with: neurodivergence/ ADHD, relationships/coupleships of all kinds (CNM+), life transitions, identity, non-traditional families, and relationship dissolution, as well as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I invite you to bring your unabashed true self to the therapy room by fostering humor, curiosity and compassion. I look beyond “presenting problems” and symptoms to intimate relationships and how the greater context of your world impacts functioning and well-being. For the past two decades, I have integrated ritual, mindfulness, and somatic movement into my professional life. I embrace a humanistic and holistic approach, focusing on enhancing self-compassion, improving communication, and fostering congruence within clients and their relationships.

At this point, you may even have a laundry list of diagnoses - Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, Autism, disordered eating, chronic pain - but you struggle to find success through traditional therapy.
Growing up with undiagnosed neurodiversity means your needs have been unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. This often leads to complex PTSD. I am trained in treating complex trauma through Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR and utilize IFS/parts work alongside my understanding of Autism and ADHD to help women heal this frequently dismissed type of trauma.

Maybe you struggle with trauma, ADHD, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or attachment issues—feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelm.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients heal from attachment wounds and develop healthier, more secure relationships. By targeting early experiences that shaped patterns of connection, we can process unresolved emotions, reduce triggers, and build a greater sense of safety in relationships.

My specialties include ADHD, Anxiety, Grief, Anger and Addiction with a special focus on supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate school, relationships, work/career and overall life change.
Wow! There are a LOT of therapists, right? Unless the criteria were super narrow, this list is likely a little overwhelming—a lot of acronyms, a lot of jargon and friendly smiles; maybe fewer cardigans than expected. It’s a lot to consider. For many of us, scrolling through lists like this can feel like running in quicksand. And if you tend to be hard on yourself, it's all the more difficult. Whether you're navigating major life shifts, struggling but still trying to pin down why, or just at a loss and unsure of where/how to start, stick with it. It's OK to take your time. There are lots of people on here who can help.

I then tailor a variety of therapeutic models including: Person-Centered, Adlerian, and CBT, to best suit your needs and pave a path for growth. ADHD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
