As a therapist, I strive to create an environment that affirms who you are as a person. Therapy involves some of our most vulnerable experiences and my practice centers on being supportive so you feel secure while exploring ways to improve your daily life. So much of a positive human experience involves being heard and validated by others, especially in our own homes. I will work with you and your loved ones to learn healthy communication skills to improve your relationships, increase acceptance and understanding in the home, and learn to manage conflict in a healthy manner.

Healing is a journey, not an event, and it starts by forging a new path, doing things differently.
I believe we are a collection of our experiences. We learn to change our actions or suppress our feelings to fit the expectations of others. Sometimes, the culmination of these experiences can leave us feeling unbalanced, not ourselves. In these seasons of uncertainty, we yearn for change but aren’t sure how to make that happen.

We often come to a crossroads in our lives, a time when staying where we are is no longer sustainable, yet we are not clear on how to do something different, or how to start down a new path. Many of us learned early on to only show aspects of ourselves that were “acceptable;” we learned which traits earned us love and cultivated those, but relinquished many others. Healing is a journey back to ourselves, a journey back our essence and back to who we were before we learned we were not enough.

I am a therapist who helps individuals break repetitive relationship cycles and heal attachment wounds. Our work together may be helpful if you are wanting to stop pulling away when a partner gets close, stop pursuing a partner who is emotionally out of reach, unlearn the belief that you are defective, the problem, or unlovable, or develop a deeper understanding of who you are. I integrate somatic experiencing, internal family systems, and attachment work to help individuals create a sense of felt safety within themselves and live more authentically in relationships.

We live in age that encourages us to grind as hard as we can, which doesn't leave time to process some things, further leading to issues like anxiety and depression. One of my main goals as a therapist is to help show perspective. I hope to help each client to see themselves in a different light.
Sadly, for some, past and ongoing trauma makes life even more difficult. Another goal as a therapist is to create a safe, mindful space to explore the past, and though I can't make it right, we can work on a path to help you grow.
Whatever life is getting to you, let's talk about it.

I am both inspired by and respectful of the time, courage and commitment it takes for you to engage in a therapeutic relationship, especially via telehealth. Utilizing a strength’s-based approach, I believe helping you to set realistic and achievable goals is pivotal to a successful outcome of self-sufficiency and self-care. Working from a place of compassion, flexibility and sensitivity, I also recognize and incorporate in treatment the importance of different life factors (e.g., family, cultural and environment) that heavily influence us socially and emotionally and our abilities to cope with challenges.

My ideal client is someone who feels the weight of life pressing in on them—maybe they are navigating anxiety, depression, anger, grief, or the overwhelming pressure of daily responsibilities. They may struggle with understanding their emotions, feel disconnected from themselves or others, or find it difficult to express what they truly feel. Deep down, they want relief, clarity, and a sense of stability. They want to feel heard without judgment, supported without condition, and guided without feeling powerless. Ultimately, they want to regain control of their lives and feel more like themselves again.
