I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of practice settings over the past 20 years. My primary area of interest and training is working with children under the age of 10 dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, autism, developmental delay, divorce, grief, medical issues, behavioral problems, and more. I believe children have limitless potential for growth and they have an innate capacity for resiliency. I also believe that parents and primary caregivers play a critical role in a child's recovery and a joint approach to working with children is essential to healing.

I have been a professional counselor and marriage and family therapist for 30 years. I am excited to sit down with couples, families and individuals and work to make problems better. I incorporate humor in my therapy. Things don't have to stay the same. Christian principles can be applied if desired. Couple and family communication is one of my specialties. Keith completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I also am an approved supervisor for candidates for the LPC-MHSP. Keith is also a National Certified Counselor and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marital & Family Therapy.

My passion is to help people recognize their inner strength so that they can reach their goals. I believe that by finding the intrinsic power that is within all of us we can experience renewed hope and motivation. I believe strongly in the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work with clients to become aware of this connection and learn how to take control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the process. I hold my perinatal mental health certification and enjoy working with clients from the initial desire to start a family, and the challenges that might bring, through the postpartum period.
