I began practicing outpatient mental health in 2010 working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, co-occurring substance use, trauma and borderline personality disorder. Clients often want to feel better, and I enjoy coming alongside to understand what feeling better means for each person, what are their hopes and dreams, and how can we partner together to achieve those dreams. Sometimes, that means needing to heal from past hurts. Sometimes that means learning how to navigate shame, anxiety, depression that keeps one in bed, or anger that comes out in unhelpful ways.
