Sex is a normal, necessary part of human existence yet many people experience problems with sex including pain, lack of desire, or an inability to reach orgasm. Have you been avoiding talking to a sex therapist because you are afraid they’ll judge you? I will never judge you. Nothing you say is going to shock me, scare me, or make me stop working with you. Some people need a safe place to explore their sexual or gender identity. If you have been waiting for someone to be able to help you understand sexual thoughts, behaviors, and preferences then email me today

I welcome people with a wide range of life issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and general stress, as well as children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional and attentional problems. My approach is tailored to your needs and goals, but usually includes a focus on understanding how you got where you are. This kind of insight can be vitally important in figuring out a practical way to get to a better place in life. When working with kids and teens, I always involve their parents to some extent, so they can better understand and help their children.

Waitlist for new clients
The areas that I help my clients with are for those dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, low emotional intelligence, addictions (especially sex/porn addiction), personality disorders and trauma. I find that people are looking for ways to deal and cope with the stress and challenges in their lives and unfortunately most people do not cope with their problems in a healthy way; instead they will find ways to cope by escaping, keeping themselves busy and distracted, basically never dealing directly with the problem and defer it for another time, but that time usually doesn't come.

The clients I work best with are those who are motivated to change, or curious to see what they could change, to improve their own mental health, and relationships. I enjoy work well with clients who recognize that "something" needs to change, even if they don't know what that "something" is yet. A client should hopefully come to the first session with some kind of goal, even if that goal is as simple as, "I want to feel less depressed/anxious/stuck/reactive/addicted."

You are feeling disorganized, distracted, or confused about life direction and struggling to anchor to a sense of self or personal values. Maybe you are struggling to acknowledge, feel, and express your emotions, and experience yourself shutting down. Or perhaps you are feeling stuck in negative self-talk, often struggling with perfectionistic tendencies and cycles of shame.

Telehealth, with in person options on Mondays. I help clients honor their past, find their voice, and create their future. It's important that my clients feel valued and respected. My commitment to you is simple: to hold an open non-judgmental space where you may reflect, learn, and grow while feeling supported, safe, and gently challenged. Eventually our discoveries will become a part of your inner voice. You'll be able to notice patterns, challenge your thoughts, and consistently live according to your ideal values. You will become your own advocate. Our work will be together, but your success will be yours.

Accepting new clients. Email is the best way to reach me. Thank you for stopping by my page! As someone who has been on both sides of the therapy couch, I understand how scary it can be to open up to a stranger about your life situation. It is for this reason that I am here to help. I believe in therapy, and the changes that are possible with the right provider.

My ideal client is a woman, from college age to mid 50’s, who is going though various life transitions, such as divorce/separation, career changes, navigation parenting/family dynamics, new relationships, and empty nesting. Life’s transitions aren’t always easy. Tackling these times with a life coach, however, makes approaching these times easier—and can even make them a positive pathway to your future. As a certified Life Coach, our sessions are oriented towards the future. With my assistance, clients should be ready to assess their goals and formulate plans to align values and actions with personal goals.

Navigating the sea of life requires a different set of skills throughout life. What works when you are 16 years old doesn’t work so well when you’re 40 years old. Oftentimes when life is passing by so quickly, adapting to the changes requires better-coping skills, skills you've yet to acquire. Or maybe, your teen has all of a sudden became distant, argumentative, and secretive. You’ve tried to be supportive in their growing independence, yet still needing a home base, but the scales aren’t balancing out. This is when you understand that seeking outside intervention is necessary.
