I work with adults and adolescents, specializing with women in their 20's-40's.
You may find you're walking through a difficult season of life. But whether you feel sad, stuck, anxious, lost, afraid or just tired of trying to figure things out on your own; I really love the process of walking with people through difficult transitions or as they are stepping into new changes in their lives. I am passionate in working with those who suffer from anxiety, depression, are who are in the middle of life transitions (such as grief, loss of pet/dream/job, moving), and/or are working through their mental health wellbeing in the context of work and career.

I have had the privilege of working with women and girls to build confidence, heal previous trauma, and mend relationships.
Life can often seem confusing and out of control. During those times, it can be difficult to maintain a daily routine and enjoy the little moments. It’s common to experience highs and lows that come along with stress but sometimes washing your hair can even feel like a mountain to climb. As a therapist, I would like to come alongside you and help in those times of difficulties.

I help women who are passionate about finding their most authentic selves, and possess a deep desire to live a life that's a true reflection of who they are and their values. Women are finding new ways of living everyday, but change is often scary, especially when we lack a working template of the ways we want to show up different. We want a life that leaves us feeling fulfilled, rather than empty. Inspired rather than soulless. To live a life driven by purpose and passion. Working together, we'll explore how to break free from learned toxic relationship patterns, unhealthy societal expectations, and outdated gender roles.

Are you someone who is curious about your inner life? Has something difficult happened and you can’t seem to move on? Have you noticed frustrating patterns in relationships, self-esteem struggles, codependency, perfectionism, identity questions or spiritual concerns? In a world where we can feel caught between so many competing demands, it can be hard to identify our own voice. While I work with a variety of individuals, I specialize in young adults, women and LGBT people experiencing life transitions, anxiety, identity concerns, relationship challenges and those deconstructing/reconstructing religious faith.

As a therapist, I believe in meeting my clients exactly where they are in their healing journey. Ultimately, I enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing grief or other life transitions that are having trouble navigating new terrain. Right now I am focused on adult women with ADHD/PTSD and pre/teens with ADHD/ASD.
Telehealth services only: I work with clients that are motivated for change. I work with adults, teens, and kids. Relationships can be very stressful and overwhelming as today we do not have a village to help us and many people lack supports. My goal is to help you either as an individual or as a family move into a place of healing. Together we can explore unresolved trauma, communication patterns, conflict, emotions, all of it within the safety of a therapeutic relationship.

Women 's issues, gay-lesbian, trans-gendered clients are welcome.
I began my career working in inpatient substance abuse facilities attached to hospitals. I am well-versed in groups for addiction and prefer individual counseling for issues in later recovery or dual diagnosis. I see adults and motivated adolescents in my practice. Both men and women are welcome as are couples and families. Other specialty areas are sexual abuse and mood disorders.

I help Christian women who feel like life just isn't working out. Maybe you give constantly to others, but your relationships are still not satisfying. You work really hard to make things ok, but hard things keep happening, you aren't sure who you are, and you can't shake a sense of general disappointment with God, other people, and life in general. I'll work with you to overcome those hard things and disappointments in a way that lets you move toward healthy and connected relationships with God and other people.

I am passionate about working with women as they navigate dating, marriage, motherhood.
Sloane Therapy Group is a private practice focused on the human connection. We are here to connect, to listen, and to provide you with the tools that will allow you to become the best version of yourself. We are not about buttoning up shirt collars. Rather, we want to meet you right where you are. We feel strongly that therapy does not have to feel so clinical and formal. We are all humans and we all struggle. To us, it’s about being genuine, learning that being vulnerable can be safe, and figuring out how to get you where you want to be,

Hello! I'm glad you're here. I think it was John Lennon who said, "Life is what happens while we're making other plans." As a woman leader at mid-life, you may be coping with transitions that are harder than expected. A challenging career. A big move. Getting used to an empty nest or helping aging parents. Even managing success can be pretty tough - right? Sometimes, it gets to the best of us. We find ourselves overwhelmed, burned out or just a little lost. But know this: you can get help. You will find your footing again. And this is a good place to start.

I specialize in working with women confronting postpartum depression and anxiety and women struggling to find balance in their roles as mothers, wives, professionals, and individuals.
I am currently unable to take new clients. Seeing a counselor doesn't mean you are "crazy" or weak. We all have times in our lives when we feel stuck and need help in getting ourselves or our family out of the patterns that aren't working for us. I strive to provide a personal, comfortable experience for my clients where they can learn to utilize their own strengths to develop the life and relationships they want. I hope to help people gain a better understanding of how their thoughts and experiences are influencing their emotions and provide practical feedback to guide you towards the life you want.

Female Therapists

Does it matter what gender my therapist is?

In general, this is not an important factor, as there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or ingrained beliefs about how people of different genders think and behave. Exploring the roots of such preferences and considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender truly matters to them.

Should I see a female therapist?

Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist, either because they believe that a woman will be able to relate to their specific challenges (for example, sexism in the workplace) or because they imagine feeling more comfortable disclosing sensitive information to a woman. Such beliefs may not turn out to be accurate, however, and adhering too rigidly to a gender preference can at times hinder a client from finding the best therapeutic match.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?

Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists—both men and women—may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?

It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
