Welcome to my page! I'm so glad you're here. My desire is to help folks reclaim their true authentic self. It is easy to become disconnected from ourselves and weighed down by life. Often times pain, fear, anxiety, or shame can cause us to reject parts of ourselves. It can often feel like we are on "auto-pilot" moving through life with no real purpose or connection. However, I believe that growth can take place by re-discovering our true self. When we learn to give space those parts that we have rejected, we start to connect with ourselves again and come in alignment. When we are aligned, we begin to live life more freely and fully.

Online therapy for men in Nashville and across Tennessee. I help men that are functioning at work, at home, on paper — but something underneath isn't right. The shutdowns, the blowups, the 2 a.m. overthinking, the irritability you you take out on the people you love the most - that's where we start. Most of the men I work with are carrying more than they let on: pressure at work, conflict at home, ADHD that's finally catching up, anxiety that shows up as anger, or a low-grade feeling that they're failing some test no one will name. You don't need to be in crisis to come in — you just need to be tired of doing this on your own.

I consider myself to have an eclectic style integrating many different incredible techniques and frameworks including Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Enneagram, and somatic practices.
I love to help bright, capable, and highly sensitive people find their way to a more authentic lived experience and break out of unhealthy patterns and relationships that result from low self-worth and trauma. I completed EMDR training in 2019 and this has given me a trauma-informed orientation. I also enjoy using the Enneagram framework to help clients become more aware of patterns of personality. I call my business Deep Well Journey because I believe that wellness involves a purposeful journey into the deepest parts of the self in order to tend wounds, reconnect with values, and discover unique potential and purpose.

Using IFS and EMDR, I’ll help you understand your system’s reactions to triggers and reconnect with your strong, healing Self energy.
Are you where you imagined you’d be in life?
So often, we move through the world relying on survival skills. Depression, anxiety, addiction, or difficult relationships may have been ways you’ve learned to cope. But healing is possible—you can begin creating the life you truly want, one that brings you peace and happiness.
Stress builds in the body, and emotions from the past often remain alive within us. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move through fear, shame, anger, or numbness—toward a place where you can feel whole, empowered, and joyful again.

I offer talk therapy, as well as nature-based therapy and equine-assisted sessions, where I integrate body-based, relational, and family systems approaches.
My clients often come to therapy feeling disconnected — from themselves, their relationships, or their place in the world. They may carry the weight of past traumas, or relationship struggles, or simply sense that something in their soul longs to be heard. Many seek a space that feels safe, grounded, and authentic. They want to heal in ways that are embodied, relational, and deeply rooted — often beyond traditional talk therapy. They’re not just looking for insights, but to have transformational experiences.
I offer sessions online, in a Johnson City office, or outdoors at the Fauna Forest Farm (10 mins from ETSU's campus).

What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
