You’ve always been the one holding everything together. But lately, it feels like no matter how hard you try, things still slip out of place—relationships, emotions, even your own sense of peace. You may not fully understand why things feel chaotic, only that you’re tired of repeating the same patterns and ready for something different. Together, we uncover the deeper emotional and spiritual roots beneath anxiety, burnout, and relationship patterns that keep us from the life we desire to live. I can help you find calm, clarity, and connection through a caring, practical approach that meets you where you are & enables you to grow.

Are you carrying more than your share, feeling unseen, or simply running on empty? Whether you're dealing with stress, grief, burnout, relationship strain, or just trying to find your footing in a world that demands so much, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. I work with adults who want a calm, confidential space to be honest, explore what’s weighing on them, and begin to heal or make meaningful change. Many of my clients are women in caregiving roles, men who’ve been taught to tough it out silently, or people navigating family transitions, loss, and identity shifts.

We will work together in discovering the obstacles that are in your path and create a plan to get you on the right path.

There is a reason we do the things that we do and feel the way that we feel. All mental health issues are caused by us surviving and navigating this world to the best of our abilities given all the obstacles that can get in the way. Therapy is a science and an art. In better understanding the science and the question of “why” we do the things that we do can be a powerful tool in starting your healing journey. Once having this level of insight, therapy aims to not only heal you in the present but heal the deeper underlying issues that have caused things to get to this point.

It is so lovely to meet you! The minute you enter my office I will accept and EMBRACE you just as you are. We are humans. We are flawed, but beautifully flawed. I strongly believe healing begins with the therapeutic relationship and I will do my best to create a safe space for vulnerability. I am a therapist AND a social worker. I believe in holistic care that is tailored to the individual (s) as well as the power of networking, referrals, and continuity of care. I may challenge you to be the best version of yourself because you deserve the best that this short life has to offer.

I help people who feel trapped in their own lives—those struggling with depression, unprocessed trauma, and the weight of critical messages they've internalized. My clients often find it difficult to manage daily life and recognize their worth. They may feel unseen and unheard or need help in forging a path back to safety and wellness.

Everyone can benefit from having a safe space to speak about life and the issues that arise. That includes children as well! Adults are not the only ones who experience anxiety, depression, anger, and so many other problems that can impact mental health. Children deserve to have a place where they can learn about and develop coping skills as well as ways to process thoughts, feelings, and experiences. They deserve to have a safe space where they can feel seen, understood, and validated.

Female Therapists

Does it matter what gender my therapist is?

In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?

Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?

Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?

It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
