I have experience helping children, teens, adults, and families with struggles related to prenatal issues/women’s issues, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, grief, depression, interpersonal issues, etc.
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and connecting with someone who truly fits your needs is important. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or caught in patterns that are no longer serving you, you deserve support from someone who not only brings effective tools for healing but also offers a genuine connection and a sense of ease. From our first interaction, I create a space where you feel safe and supported. Together, we can begin a journey of self-discovery and growth. I am currently on a waitlist. I am scheduling new clients beginning in September.

I work best with clients who are ready to do the work — even if they are tired, uncertain, or unsure where to begin. Many of the people I meet are high-functioning on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they have lost sight of themselves along the way. Sometimes the hardest part is believing change is possible. When you are struggling to hold onto hope, I am honored to hold that hope with you until you can begin to carry it for yourself.

Hello and welcome! If life has been feeling heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming, you do not have to navigate it alone. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a grounded and compassionate space where you feel safe, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Often, the patterns you carry once helped you survive difficult or painful experiences. Together, we honor their purpose while gently shifting what no longer serves you, creating space for growth and choice.

My areas of focus include clients who struggle with OCD, eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety/depression, and life transitions.
Starting therapy is a courageous step, and whether you're just beginning or returning to this work, I honor your willingness to show up. Life can be hard sometimes. We all go through seasons of struggle, uncertainty, and pain that leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, from others, and from the life we want to live. Therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect, to heal, and to begin again.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
How long does OCD treatment take?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.

What happens if OCD is not treated?
Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.

Are there medications for OCD?
Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine (under the brand name Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), and sertraline (Zoloft), among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.

Can OCD come back after treatment?
Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
