Hello, I would like to welcome you to our practice. My name is Christy Vaughn, and I'd like to share a bit about myself. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Bluefield University and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. My experience includes working with individuals and their families. I use various person-centered therapeutic methods to provide treatment for adolescents and adults. I strive to create a warm, friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere for my clients.
I particularly enjoy working with individuals dealing with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and adjustment concerns. I utilize research-based counseling methods in my practice, I often work with my "Co-therapist," Sully. Sully is a Lapom (Lhaso Apso/Pomeranian mix). Sully enjoys providing both support and humor to our sessions.
