Life is challenging and learning to navigate it in a healthy manner is key to being happy. I like to meet people where they are and as a counselor help them reach where they want to be mentally. I believe my life experiences have shaped me into a counselor that connects with clients without judgement. Connecting to a counselor is the most important aspect of counseling because without a connection you may not feel comfortable being vulnerable.
I graduated from Auburn University in Montgomery with a Bachelor in Psychology and a Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health. I am also a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a Peer Support Counselor for firefighters and law enforcement.
I work with kids from very young ages to “more mature” adults and everyone in between. I feel I thrive best working with life traumatic experiences. Veterans hold a special place in my heart. I am here to be your partner through your journey to self improvement!
